Tamer Hassan (born March 18, 1968 in London ) is a British actor .

Life

Hassan, who comes from a Turkish Cypriot family, suffered an injury from boxing , runs nightclubs and restaurants, and is the owner, president, coach and player of Greenwich Borough Football Club and Eltham Boxing Gym . Only later did he become an actor. His first film role was in the 2004 film Calcium Kid , but before that he had made a few television appearances. He starred in the films The Football Factory (2004) and The Business (2005) with director Nick Love .

Hassan competed in the annual Premier League All Stars charity football tournament for West Ham United , despite being a fan of the club's old competitor, Millwall FC .

He names the Turkish actor Kemal Sunal as a great role model .
