Building description

The Sorgendorf Castle in the middle of the complex is a cubic-looking building, the core of which dates from the 16th century and was newly faced in the 19th century. To the northwest is a large warehouse with a wide, windowless gable front, which is decorated with Art Nouveau ornaments. At the end of the old, two-storey brewhouse is Darre grown. This multi-storey building with a square floor plan is a four-story tower, which is structured by vertical bands and crowned by an octagonal chimney. The kiln was built in the second half of the 19th century and shut down in 1947. The machinery was not dismantled until 1982.
