Sorin Dumitrescu

Sorin Dumitrescu (* 1982 in Timisoara , Romania ) is a IFBB - bodybuilder .

Life

Sorin Dumitrescu is a trained plumber and heating and air conditioning technician. He competed in his first IFBB competition at the age of 20 and became the Romanian national super heavyweight champion. In 2011 he started at the “Romania Grand Prix” and was the overall winner with a starting weight of 152 kg.

Outside the competition season, Dumitrescu weighed between 160 and 165 kg and was therefore the heaviest amateur athlete in Europe.

In the spring of 2014, Dumitrescu retired from competitive sports for health reasons.
