Pencil extender

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A pencil extender

A pencil extender makes it possible to continue using the rest of a pencil even if it can no longer be held comfortably in the hand. To do this, you put the rest of the pen in an extended handle and you can continue writing with it almost to the top of the pencil.

history

At a time when raw materials were not as affordable as they are today, pencil extensions were frequently used office supplies, some of which were given away for promotional purposes. Pencil extensions have been around since the second quarter of the 20th century at the latest, but probably even earlier.
