Sotes

Sotes was a Greek potter , active in the 2nd half of the 6th century BC. In Athens .

He is only known for his signature on a fragmentary, black-figure painted plate from the Athens Agora (now Athens, Agora Museum P 2325C; AP 1859A-B) with the depiction of Athena , which was also signed by the painter Paideros .
