Soukous stars

Soukous Stars is a band founded in 1990 in Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo ), which is made up of well-known greats from the Soukous .

Lokassa Ya Mbongo, Ngouma Lokito, Ballou Canta and Shimita El Diego founded the Soukous Stars with guitarist Dally Kimoko as a result of their shared experience in the 1980s with the band Les Quatre Étoiles . The group became known through cover songs of earlier hits like Lagos Nights and Ghana Success . Nyboma and Dally Kimoko are out.
