Space Kelly is a music project by the Hamburg musician Ken Steen.

history

Ken Steen played in the band Fluffy Pillows until the mid-1990s. After their dissolution, he initially started the Space Kelly project solo. In 1995 the first publications appeared, the mini album "Life is not a home game", as well as the one-sided single "N'abend all hers".

The first international successes came with the album "Erste Alles" (titled "Space Kelly" in Japan). In 2001 Space Kelly recorded the club anthem "The EHC is back" for the Eisbären Berlin . The 2002 release of "SKFC" was followed by a sold out club tour in Japan.

In 2006 and 2008, English-language albums with cover versions of songs from the 1960s and 1970s were released.

Ken Steen is currently producing a new Space Kelly album (released 2012).
