The spectral is an art event of the Dahme-Spreewald district. Visual artists from the Dahme-Spreewald district and members of the Brandenburg Association of Visual Artists can take part. V.

concept

The event has been held every two years since 2002, so that the fifth anniversary was celebrated in 2012. An art prize will be awarded to one of the exhibiting artists as part of the exhibition. The exhibition takes place in changing locations, such as the former prison in Luckau . Prize winners were: Ralf Sander 2002, Kathrin Harder 2004, Gunter Schöne 2008, Jutta Pelz 2010, Heinz Bert Dreckmann 2012, Franz Rentsch and Marietta Thier 2014.

In 2012, in connection with the title "In the vineyard - art and nature one unit?", The cellar vaults in the Schlossberg in Luckau were chosen as the exhibition location. The curator of the Spectral is Daniela Dietsche.
