Game music concert

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A game music concert is an event at which music from computer and video games is presented in various ways. This can take the form of rock events, such as the concerts of Black Mages , or with a large orchestra, as in Tokyo in the series Game Music Concert , which took place from 1991 to 1995.

The first game music concert outside of Japan was held in 2003 as the opening event of the Games Convention in Leipzig. This resulted in the series of symphonic game music concerts produced by Thomas Böcker .

There are now various organizers of game music concerts in Germany, such as Video Games Live by Tommy Tallarico and Game Music Live by Franz Bader.
