Playground cadastre

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Information on playgrounds, individual play equipment and open spaces for similar use is stored in a playground cadastre. Playgrounds are understood to be areas that are specifically designated for play and legally secured by a development plan , building permit or contract (within private properties).

The range of these playgrounds is considerable:

  • Large systems in parks and at garden shows
  • Places of different sizes in the settlement areas of the metropolitan areas, in the outskirts, in rural settlements and in the recreational forest area

Schoolyards with play equipment for the game break and for the extracurricular time

  • Outdoor areas of kindergartens

The operator of a playground is responsible for the safety on the site. Since he is liable for accidents, regular maintenance and care measures must be carried out on the playground equipment and open spaces. Information on this maintenance must be recorded and processed.

With the help of an information system, the spatial data can be recorded, managed, processed, analyzed and, among other things, displayed on a map for visualization ( see also GIS ).
