history
The company was founded in 2009 by Korean entrepreneurs in Seoul as SJP Corporation . The name was changed to Spigen in 2012, and soon afterwards the company headquarters was relocated to the USA in 2013. According to the company, the name was given from a combination of the two terms “mirror” and “gene”.
Currently, the design and development of the products takes place exclusively in California, the company headquarters are in Irvine . Spigen Korea determines the Asian market with further branches in Japan , China and Turkey, among others . There are also European branches. The company supplies products to over 60 countries. Around 60% of the company's total sales come from the North American market alone.
