The Ballaragh Spiral Stone, discovered in 1915, is located on the embankment of the Ballaragh Road (B 11) north of Ballaragh, north of Laxey on the east side of the Isle of Man . It was found in its current location (but lower) when a road worker was cleaning the ditch.

The spiral stone on the old road through the Abbeylands of Lonan has two spiral lines about 20 cm from its base, similar to those of the Calderstones in Liverpool . Although less elaborate, they appear to be of the same type as the spirals on the stones at Dowth and Newgrange in Ireland and are believed to be of the Neolithic period as well.
