Splash and Dash

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term Splash and Dash (also Splash 'n' Dash or Splash & Dash) has its origins in American racing, but has recently also been used in other motor sports.

Splash and Dash is the name for a very short pit stop . As a rule, it is only a matter of refueling the vehicle with a few liters. There is no tire change.

A splash and dash is usually necessary when the vehicle has too little fuel to drive through to the end of a race. Therefore, a splash and dash usually occurs in the last laps of a race.
