Splash and Bubbles follows a yellowback fusilier (although he and the narrator sometimes claim he's a yellowtail fusilier), Splash, who settles in Reeftown after surveying the whole ocean. Then he befriends Bubbles, a mandarin kite, and the duo. Together with his friends Dunk and Ripple, he explores the reef to make new friends.
