PBS Kids is a US public broadcasting service television station .
history
The station first broadcast its program on July 11, 1994; Initially, Scholastic Productions gave the rights to several television series such as The Magic School Bus , Clifford, the Big Red Dog , Clifford, the Little Red Dog and WordGirl . The Decode Entertainment series ( Super Why ! , Dragon Tales ) were also used from the archives . From 1998, however , the WGBH Kids started producing more and more in-house productions, so-called Studio B Productions such as Cyber-Jagd , Marla speaks! and George Shrinks .
