Split Second (Chinese: 爭分奪秒; translated: race against time ) is a television series produced in 2004 by the Cantonese TVB television and the Chinese LIU Xiao Group . It was particularly evident in Hong Kong , China and Thailand with high ratings. The series was written by various authors based on an idea from co-producer Luoyong Xian and finally filmed as an action drama in a television series with 30 individual films. In addition, it was also a competitor to the US television series 24 , which is built on the same basic structures.

A revision into German and a broadcast in Germany has not yet taken place.

Initial story

On April 1, 2004, agents Yang Qidong , Senior Inspector Huang Jiahui and Sand Chin Feng Zhiwei of the Criminal Intelligence Bureau (CIB) were smuggled into the West Kowloon Crime Reorganization with the task of preventing the planned murder of Police Commissioner-designate Wang Zhenyang and the organization to smash as well as expose the complete conspiracy. Other gangs try to expand their own advantages through this action and to gain power and influence as far as possible. This makes the mission of the three policemen much more difficult.
