Sporting San Miguelito is a Panamanian football club based in San Miguelito . The club plays in the ANAPROF , the country's first division. The club was founded in 1989 by Cesar Morales, then under the name Academia de Fútbol Sporting 89 .
1997 they rose for the first time in the first division, in the season 2012/13 San Miguelito became champions for the first time in their club history.

San Miguelito was founded in 1989 as Academia de Fútbol Sporting 89 with the aim of offering many young people a perspective on crime by promoting football in San Miguelito. In 1997, the club made it to the top division for the first time. In 2009 it was announced that Spanish investors had bought the club. In 2013 they became champions for the first time after beating San Francisco FC 4-1 in the play-off final .
