The Sportjugend Schleswig-Holstein (sjsh) is the independent youth association in the Landessportverband Schleswig-Holstein e. V. It is a youth association according to § 12 Children u. Youth Welfare Act (KJHG) and member of the German Youth Sports Association and the Schleswig-Holstein State Youth Association.

Members

The members are the youth organizations of the district sports and state professional associations in Schleswig-Holstein. In total, the around 360,000 young people up to the age of 27 in the 2,616 sports clubs and associations of the Schleswig-Holstein State Sports Association make up Schleswig-Holstein's youth sports.

tasks and goals

The field of activity is extracurricular, voluntary youth work in sport. It goes beyond pure sportiness and accepts young people in their overall personality.

The aim of the Sportjugend Sim Landessportverband is a contemporary, meaningful leisure time organization for young people. Fun, variety and sociability contribute to this. The participation of young people is very important. Sport and interdisciplinary youth work make their contribution to the development of young people's personality and to learning social behavior. Sport contributes to international understanding through encounters and competitions with foreign groups.

organization

The board of directors consists of the 1st chairman and 6 deputy chairmen with equal rights. The managing director continues to be a member of the board in an advisory capacity.
