Spray pyrolysis

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The spray pyrolysis is a synthetic strategy in inorganic chemistry . In the context of the sol-gel process, a substrate is sprayed onto a heated surface by an atomizer and reacts there with the same. With this method it is possible to fix thin layers on flat surfaces.

history

Spray pyrolysis was invented by Chamberlin and Skarman in 1966 in order to be able to represent cadmium sulfide and other sulfides or selenides as thin layers . Thin-film chemistry has developed rapidly since 1966.
