Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple

The Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple or Halasuru Someshwara Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in the city of Bangalore in India .

The temple is originally dated to the Chola period and is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva . Major expansions took place in the late Vijayanagara period under the rule of Hiriya Kempe Gowda II.
