Kalkar Municipal Museum

The Kalkar Municipal Museum was opened on October 13, 1966. It is located in a step-gabled house from 1500. A new building connects it with the Kalkar City Archives , which is housed in the 1430 town hall. In addition to exhibits relating to the history of the city, the museum also has an art collection that includes paintings by Gerhard Janssen , Max Clarenbach , Heinrich Nauen , Hermann Teuber and Franz Radziwill .
