Noise limitation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Automatic Noise Limiter (English: A utomatic N oise L imiter) comes in commercial or semi-professional receivers for use. The LF signal is lowered after the demodulator as long as the signal does not exceed a certain threshold.

This interference limitation can only be used with amplitude modulation . The function can be switched off, otherwise very weak signals are also attenuated.
