The Stünzelfest is an annual district animal show in Stünzel , Bad Berleburg in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district . This always takes place on the second Saturday in June and is organized by the Wittgenstein Agricultural District Association . The event is attended by more than 10,000 visitors annually. The festival has been held since 1833 and over time has developed into a folk festival . The 185th edition was celebrated in 2017.

At the festival, the most beautiful farm animals (including in the categories of dairy cows, beef cattle, horses, goats and sheep) are awarded prizes as part of a performance show. The Stünzelfest is described as a mix of district animal show and bazaar, as there are over 200 market stalls in the form of a fair on the site.
