St-Roch (Ajaccio)
The St-Roch is a Catholic church in Ajaccio , the capital of the island of Corsica . It belongs to the diocese of Ajaccio .

It is located in downtown Ajaccio, on the west side of the Cours Napoléon at 29 Cours Napoléon.
Architecture and history
The church was built in 1885 by the architect Barthélémy Maglioli in neoclassical style, although the original plan was only implemented in a simplified manner. There is a slender bell tower on the northeast side. In 1923 renovations took place. In 1960 the interior design was changed. The church will be renovated around 2018, including the changes made in the 1920s and redesigning the west facade. In addition, the renovation also includes the bell tower, the roof, the windows and the interior of the church.
The community has a library with 7,000 religious works.
