The St. Antonius Chapel is located in Hakenberg (City of Lichtenau ), Paderborn district.
history
The building of the chapel was built in 1751. On November 9th of the same year, the citizens of Hakenberg were asked to take good care of the church and to keep it in good condition. Nevertheless, the structure became dilapidated over time in the middle of the 19th century. As a result, the roof and ceiling were renovated in 1896. A short time later, the wall paintings were also repaired. Another restoration took place in 1999.
