Queen Mary Cross
The Queen Maria Cross was donated in three classes by King Ferdinand I of Romania on March 17, 1917 and was intended to be awarded to all people who had made a contribution to the medical sector.
The medal of the 1st class is a gold-plated, white-enamelled cross made of silver . A red enameled red cross can be seen in the middle. On the reverse the golden crowned initial M (Maria). The other two classes are not enameled, with the II. Class gold-plated and the III. Class is made of bronze . On the front the engraved crowned initial described above. The foundation year 1917 is engraved on the reverse .
All three classes were worn on an orange ribbon. The first class around the neck, the II and III. Class on the left chest.
