St. Anthony's Church (Nowa Sól)
St. Antonius Church in Nowa Sól is a church built in 1839 based on a design by Friedrich August Stüler . The originally Protestant church was built from red brick in the neo-Romanesque style. After the Second World War and the expulsion of the German population , it was used by the Capuchins from 1945 and in 1950 was elevated to the status of a Catholic parish church . The church got new altars, two new bells and the stained glass . The Capuchin monastery that the church uses is located in the rebuilt former hospital of the Order of St. John from 1861.
