Matthias Kolbusa
Matthias Kolbusa (* 1974 in Paderborn ) is a German non-fiction author , management consultant, entrepreneur and speaker.
Life
At the age of 14, Kolbusa founded his own company and developed software products for architects and engineers. After graduating from high school in Nuremberg in 1993, he studied computer science at the University of Fulda . After graduating with a degree in computer science in 1999, he worked as a senior consultant for CSC Corp. Business consulting . A year later he switched to management as interim CIO of Autobahn Tank & Rast GmbH . As a result, he founded several companies, which he then sold again. Three years later he obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leeds in England.
As a consultant specializing in strategy and transformation, he has been advising companies since 2001, some of which are listed in the DAX. In 2011 his first book The Strategy Scout was published . In addition to his writing and consulting work, Matthias Kolbusa works as a speaker on the topics of management and corporate governance. He works as a supervisory board and advisory board for several medium-sized companies.
Matthias Kolbusa is also involved as an honorary judge. He campaigns for environmental and future issues as a member of the German Society of the Club of Rome , of which he has been a member of the German Presidium since 2016. Matthias Kolbusa lives and works in Hamburg. He is married and has two children.
