The Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is a Gothic cathedral in Pilsen . It has been the cathedral church of the Pilsen diocese since 1993 .

St. Bartholomäus is a high-Gothic three-aisled hall church . Construction began after the city was founded around 1295. At 103 meters, the tower is one of the highest church towers in Europe and the highest in the Czech Republic. The Sternberg Chapel from the first half of the 16th century is architecturally valuable.
