The St. Helena Street is a street in Trier . It runs between Eurener Strasse and Hermannstrasse across the district of Euren . One of the most important shopping streets in the district.
history
The street is named after Helena , the mother of Constantine the Great .
Cultural monuments
There are six cultural monuments in the street , including the parish church of St. Helena . Most of the buildings date from the 19th century. At the beginning of the street (official address Eligiusstraße / Im Waldtal) is the so-called Helenenbrunnen from 1818. An old spring rises nearby, which has been handed down as Helenabrunnen since the 13th century at the latest .
