St. Marineh Church

The St. Marineh Church ( Armenian Սուրբ Մարինէ եկեղեցի , also known as Katoghike ), built in the 6th century, is a ruinous Armenian church in the city of Muş in Eastern Anatolia , Turkey .
It was one of several churches in Mus, the capital of the Taron region in the Kingdom of Armenia . Today, due to the decay that began with the persecution of the Armenians, only the walls of roughly hewn natural stone of the former church remain.
