St. Nicholas Cathedral (Kuopio)

The Cathedral of St. Nicholas (Finnish: Pyhän Nikolaoksen katedraali) is the Episcopal Church of the Diocese of Kuopio of the Orthodox Church of Finland in Finnish Kuopio .

The church was built in 1902/03 by Alexander Isakson from Vyborg in place of a wooden church built in 1868.

The iconostasis donated by Governor General Nikolai Ivanovich Bobrikov was made in St. Petersburg's Alexander Nevsky Monastery . There are eight bells and six clocks in the church. The church was restored in 1954 and 1965, and the interior and iconostasis in 2004.
