St. Alban's village church

The Catholic village church of St. Alban is located in the middle of the Steinheuterode community in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia .

history

After the Reformation , the first Catholic church was built in 1576 . In 1928 the new village church was built on the site of an older, smaller and dilapidated church. It is 18 meters long and 9.50 meters wide. It has an altar with the painting Assumption of Mary into Heaven . <
