The St. James' Church is an Episcopal Church in the Texan town of Dalhart .

history

The parish was founded in 1902. Initially, the services took place in church buildings in other parishes, in a bank and in the Felton Opera House . Construction of St. James' Church began in 1910. On January 8, 1911, Right Reverend EA Temple , Bishop of the North Texas Mission District, consecrated the house.

In 1966 the church was declared a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark .
