Chapel of St. John the Baptist

The Roman Catholic Chapel of St. John the Baptist is a listed church building in Kückelheim , a district of Schmallenberg in the Hochsauerlandkreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The village chapel is on the southern outskirts of Kückelheim near the district road 35 next to the Mühlenbach. It was built in the 17th century. The entrance to the single-nave chapel is on the north side. The windows in the ship are arched with an arch and in the choir are pointed. The roof and the roof turret are slate. There is a playground next to the chapel.
