The parish church of St. Michael is the Roman Catholic church in Lauterbach in the Black Forest .

Construction of the foundation stone of the parish church of St. Michael was on August 1, 1893. The inauguration of the church took place on 21 October 1894. The plans for the neo-Romanesque pillar basilica come from Josef Cades .

Until Napoleon's victory over the Austrian (and Russian) emperors in the Battle of the Three Emperors, Lauterbach belonged to the Catholic Front Austria . To this day, Catholicism is widespread in Schramberg and Lauterbach.

Church "Mary Queen of Peace"

The small branch church "Maria Königin des Friedens" in Sulzbach belongs to the parish of Lauterbach . The scattered residents of the 4 km long Sulzbach valley wanted their own church at the turn of the last century. Immediately after the Second World War, this small church was built in the side valley.
