The Church of St. Michael and Constantine is a Russian Orthodox church building in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . Also known as the Romanov Church, it is one of the city's most magnificent churches and commemorates the 300th anniversary of the Romanov family's reign .

Iconostasis

It was opened shortly before the end of the Tsarist era in 1913. The most striking feature are the golden domes. The church, built by Ivan Kolesnikow , combines the architectural styles of Rostov and Suzdal . As conspicuous as the exterior is, the interior is simple. The only conspicuous piece of equipment in the otherwise white church is the iconostasis .
