The St. Stanislaus Church is a Roman Catholic church in Buk in Poland.

history

The current church was built between 1838 and 1846 according to the design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the classicist style. The previous Gothic building was demolished around 1806 after its tower collapsed.

In 1899 the building was renovated. During the German occupation of Poland from 1939 to 1945, the church was used as a warehouse. On the night of January 25-26, 1945, German soldiers set fire to the church and it burned down almost completely. After the war the church was rebuilt. Up until the early 1990s, the altars, benches and paintings from the Woźniki monastery church were located here . After the Woźniki monastery church was also rebuilt, this equipment was returned to Woźniki, and new ones were purchased here.
