St. Vincent Church

St. Vincent is a church in the Düsseldorf district of Flingern .

St. Vincent was a Roman Catholic Church whose parish merged with the parish of St. Elisabeth in 2000 . In the following year the St. Vincent Church was sold to the Free Church New Life Fellowship .

The church building was built between 1926 and 1927 according to the plans of the Düsseldorf architect Hermann Schagen , the colored glazing of the windows was carried out according to plans by Gerhard Wind.

It is a single-nave hall church with a roof turret on the gable as a bell carrier. The architecture is characterized by the brick façade and kept rather simple.

The postmodern wooden barrel ceiling by Karl Josef Bollenbeck is a special feature.
