The State Bogdan-Petriceicu-Hasdeu University Cahul ( Romanian Universitatea de Stat "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" din Cahul , Russian Кагульский государственный университет имени Богдана Петричейку Хашдеу ) is a university in the Moldovan town of Cahul . It was founded in 1999 and is named after Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu .
With three faculties and around 2000 students, it is one of the smaller universities in the Republic of Moldova.
