State Protection Chamber

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The State Protection Chamber is a judicial body in German criminal court constitutional law . It is regulated in § 74a GVG and is formed at the regional court in whose district the competent higher regional court has its seat.

The matters for which the State Security Chamber is responsible ( state security matters ) are finally listed in Section 74a of the GVG. The jurisdiction of the State Security Chamber does not come into consideration if the first instance jurisdiction of the Higher Regional Court is justified.

The principle of concentration applies to the State Protection Chamber, as well as to the jury court and the Commercial Criminal Chamber , that is, all state protection matters must be located in a single State Protection Chamber.
