State Secretary for Integration

The State Secretary for Integration was a State Secretariat created in April 2011 by the Austrian Federal Government.

In the course of a cabinet reshuffle, Sebastian Kurz (* 1986) was entrusted with the work previously assigned to the Ministry of the Interior . After the National Council election in Austria in 2013 and the continuation of the grand coalition , the department was transferred to the Foreign Ministry as the new Section VIII . The current head of the section is Susanne Raab , previously Stefan Steiner .
