The Stade des Martyrs ( Martyrs Stadium ) is a multifunctional stadium in the Congolese capital Kinshasa . It has a capacity of 80,000 seats and is mainly used for football matches of the Daring Club Motema Pembe and Inter Kinshasa clubs.

It was built in 1994 with Chinese support and replaced the old Stade Tata Raphaël about a kilometer away , where the 1974 fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman , known as Rumble in the Jungle , took place, as the national stadium of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
