The stadium at the water tower is a football stadium in the Neuwied district of Engers .
history
The stadium was built in 1900 and football games have been held there since 1921. From 1955 the stadium had a main pitch made of natural turf, which was converted into an artificial turf pitch from March to July 2017 . In the course of the renovation, the stadium also received stadium lighting.
