The Mont Avril is a 3346 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Valais Alps . It lies on the border between the Val de Bagnes in the canton of Valais in Switzerland and the Valpelline , a side valley of the Aosta Valley , in Italy .
The Mont Avil can be reached via a mountain path from the Fenêtre de Durand (2797 m) and is considered the smaller brother of Mont Gelé .
