The Stadtzollwachhaus or Torwachhaus am Unteren Tor is a single-storey saddle roof building in Hauptstrasse 32 in the town of Merkendorf in the Franconian Lake District ( Middle Franconia ). The building is a listed building .
construction
The current building is a faithful reconstruction from 1980. The previous building was built in the 18th century. It has a half-timbered gable . According to the road customs law of 1573, paving duty had to be paid there until 1935 .
