Tribal law
Tribal laws are laws of archaic tribal societies based on traditions , religion, and myths .
Examples are:
- the Kanun (Albania) from the 15th century
- the Pashtunwali of Pashtun tribes in Afghanistan
- the tribal laws of the Chechens
- the " Adat " of the Minangkabau from Sumatra
Special regulations:
- the clipping is in many cultures as a rite of passage adapted to receive and into the adult as Tabu , d. H. viewed as immutable and sanctioned tribal law ( Nigeria ).
The early medieval collections of laws such as the lex Baiuvariorum or the lex Alamannorum are also referred to as tribal laws : see Germanic tribal law .
