Stamo 1400

Stamo 1400 is an aircraft piston engine that was produced by the aviation company Stark Flugzeugbau KG in Minden , Westphalia , after the re-approval of aviation after the Second World War in Germany .

The type approval of the 1400 series took place in 1959 by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt Braunschweig and was published with the identification sheet number 06.100-4503.

Data

The Stamo engine series are air-cooled 4-stroke units based on the boxer engine of the VW Beetle . The twin magneto ignition with two spark plugs per cylinder comes from Ducellier. The double downdraft carburetor Pallas Zenith NDIX 32 was from the Berlin carburetor factory supplied.
