Whistle
Pfeust is a deserted area on Fladunger Boden on the eastern slope of the Langen Rhön in the area of a bend in the Hochrhönstrasse . Today there is a leisure facility with a refuge and barbecue facilities at this location.
The farm belonged to the Fulda monastery and was described as desolate in 1520. It is not certain whether it corresponds to the farm "Capture Swares Muore" ( Black Moor ) mentioned in 824 . It was given to the Wechterswinkel monastery in a donation .
The courtyard had an area of 55 m × 75 m. This is surrounded by a wall of basalt rubble that is still visible today . The ground was leveled for the foundation. The entrance was to the south.
