The Standard P 203 and the Standard P 503 were Tricycle Transportation , which from 1935 to 1939 in the standard vehicle factory of Wilhelm Gutbrod in Plochingen were produced. The P 203 had a 200 cc single cylinder engine and was exempt from vehicle tax; in the P 503 it was a 500 cc boxer engine. Both engines were two-stroke. Four-wheel variants were marketed as the Standard P 504 and Standard P 204 .

A special feature of this "express delivery van" was the installation of the engine as an underfloor rear engine under the flatbed or under the box. Vehicles with the 500 cm³ engine could load 0.75 tons, with the 200 cm³ engine 0.5 tons. The advertising highlighted the two-door driver's cab, "with softly padded seats, closed and comfortable like a passenger car."

Prices ranged from RM 1395 for the cheaper version of the flatbed with a small engine to RM 1865 for the station wagon with a two-cylinder engine.

After the Second World War , only competitors continued to produce cargo tricycles. The successor models of the standard three-wheelers were the Heck 504 and Heck 604 from late 1946 to spring 1950, when they were replaced by the Gutbrod Atlas .
